Tibia Vocation Guide for Mobile Players - Knight, Paladin, Sorcerer, Druid
Tibia Vocation Guide for Mobile Players
Choosing a vocation in Tibia is a permanent decision that shapes your entire gameplay experience. When playing on mobile, some vocations are easier to manage on a touchscreen than others. Here’s everything you need to know.
The Four Vocations
Knight — The Tank
Knights are melee fighters with the highest HP in the game. They use swords, axes, or clubs and stand face-to-face with monsters.
Strengths:
- Highest health pool — hardest to kill
- Simple combat: walk up and attack
- Can wear the heaviest armor
- Great for solo play
On Mobile: Knights are the best vocation for mobile play. Melee combat is straightforward on a touchscreen — tap a monster, stand next to it, and attack. No kiting, no aiming, no complex spell rotations.
Paladin — The Ranger
Paladins use ranged weapons (bows, crossbows) and have a balance of HP and mana. They attack from a distance and can use some healing spells.
Strengths:
- Ranged attacks — fight from safety
- Good health and mana
- Very profitable (save money on potions)
- Can hunt efficiently solo
On Mobile: Paladins work well on mobile. Distance fighting means you take less damage, and the simpler movement patterns make touchscreen play comfortable. Just maintain distance and shoot.
Sorcerer — The Nuker
Sorcerers deal the most damage in Tibia with powerful elemental magic. They have low HP but devastating area spells.
Strengths:
- Highest damage output
- Area spells clear groups fast
- Elemental magic (fire, ice, earth, energy)
- Fast leveling with the right hunts
On Mobile: Sorcerers are challenging on mobile. Effective sorcerer play requires precise positioning for area spells and quick reactions to avoid death. Your low HP means mistakes are punishing. Recommended for experienced players.
Druid — The Healer
Druids are the healers and support class of Tibia. They use nature and ice magic for damage, and have the strongest healing spells in the game.
Strengths:
- Best healing in the game
- Essential for team hunts
- Ice and earth damage spells
- Always wanted in groups
On Mobile: Druids are moderately challenging on mobile. Solo hunting is straightforward (similar to sorcerer), but team healing requires fast targeting which can be tricky on a touchscreen. Great for solo play, takes practice for team hunts.
Mobile Vocation Tier List
From easiest to hardest on mobile:
- Knight — Simple and forgiving. Best for mobile beginners.
- Paladin — Comfortable ranged play. Good balance.
- Druid — Fine solo, challenging in team healer role.
- Sorcerer — High skill ceiling. Rewarding but demanding on touch.
Tips for Any Vocation on Mobile
- Hotkey your most-used spells — set up the spell bar before you hunt
- Bring extra supplies — you can’t micromanage inventory easily on mobile
- Use mana potions generously — running out of mana on mobile is dangerous
- Know your escape route — before entering a spawn, know how to get out
- Practice in safe zones — get comfortable with the controls before dangerous hunts
